Lucky Hussler has returned to racing in exceptional form this time and remains outright $4.60 favourite in 2016 CF Orr Stakes betting markets with leading online bookie Ladbrokes.com.au.

Lucky Hussler has been a strong and consistent performer through his long and busy racing career so far; posting eight wins and as many minors through 34 competitive starts.

Breaking through for a maiden win at the highest level in the Group 1 William Reid Stakes (1200m) upon resuming in 2015, the Husson gelding returned in spring for fourth in the Group 2 Bobbie Lewis Quality (1200m) on September 12th; progressing to sixth in the Group 1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes (1400m) before taking out the Group 1 Toorak Handicap (1600m).

Placing third in the Group 2 Crystal Mile (1600m) and sixth in the Group 1 Emirates Stakes (1600m), Lucky Hussler returned from a brief spell to take out the Magic Millions Cup (1400m) on the Gold Coast on January 9th.

Turn Me Loose more than announced himself to the Australian racing community in spring and currently rates as sole occupant of the second line of CF Orr Stakes betting at a quote of $4.80.

Finishing outside the first three only once in eleven career starts so far, the Iffraaj entire debuted in Australia for second in the Listed Paris Lane Stakes (1400m) on October 4th before taking out the Listed Seymour Cup (1600m) a fortnight later.

Continuing his slick run of form through the Crystal Mile, Turn Me Loose has not been seen at the races since posting a second Group 1 triumph in the Emirates Stakes on November 7th.

Murray Baker has been thrilled with Turn Me Loose’s condition since his return to Australia and is confident the horse will lay a typically great account for himself in the CF Orr Stakes.

Interestingly figuring as the only other runner currently available at 2016 CF Orr Stakes odds of less than $10, Boban returned to exceptional form in 2015 and represents terrific value at a quote of $8.50 for success this weekend.

A five-time Group 1 champion, Boban returned in 2015 for a couple of luckless runs in autumn, but re-asserted himself at the highest level when charging home to win the Group 1 Doomben 10,000 (1350m) on May 23rd; placing third in the Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap (1350m) a fortnight later.

Resuming in spring for success in the Group 1 Memsie Stakes (1400m), the Bernardini gelding placed fourth in the Group 1 Makybe Diva Stakes (1600m) but failed to make any impact whatsoever in the Group 1 Darley Classic (1200m) on November 7th.
